In news that was more shocking to them than anyone else, Brothers Osborne learned that they were nominated for a GRAMMY award.

The pair earned a nomination for Best Country Duo/Group Performance with their No.1 hit, “Stay A Little Longer,” and had to take some time to allow the news to really sink in.

“It’s definitely a very surreal feeling. Someone mentioned, ‘you know, for the rest of your career, you’ll always be introduced as a GRAMMY-nominated artist,’ which is really just crazy to me to think about that,” TJ Osborne told Sounds Like Nashville. “And then, it wasn’t probably until a week or so later, someone published an article saying that, ‘It’s crazy that the Brothers would have a nomination with no album out.’ I didn’t even think about that either. Once it was put into perspective, it really was an eye opening thing. It was pretty crazy.”

TJ and his brother John will head out to Los Angeles for the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards, held on Monday, Feb. 15. The show will be hosted by LL Cool J and air on CBS from 8 – 11:30 p.m. EST (5 to 8:30 p.m. PST and 6p.m.-9:30 p.m. MST).

Luke BryanChris Stapleton, Little Big Town, Carrie Underwood and Sam Hunt are among the acts slated to perform.
