Brothers Osborne Score First No.1 With ‘Stay A Little Longer’

Congratulations to Brothers Osborne! The duo earned their first-ever No.1 single this week with “Stay A Little Longer.”

Brothers TJ and John wrote the song with songwriter Shane McAnally (Kenny Chesney’s “Somewhere with You,” Luke Bryan’s “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye,” Dierks Bentley’s “Say You Do”).

“We can’t believe it,” said John. “Thank you to every person that supported this tune, we did this together.”

“Tt’s a dream come true,” TJ added.

BROS also took to Facebook to thank fans for their support. “As of midnight tonight, Stay A Little Longer is officially NUMBER ONE!!! We can’t freaking believe it. Thanks to EVERY person that requested our tune. We did this together. Every one of us. A dream come true. Love you guys!”

The song appears on the duo’s debut album, Pawn Shop, and is currently nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance at the Grammy Awards.

Later this year, Brothers Osborne will hit the road with Miranda Lambert and Kip Moore as part of Lambert’s Keeper of the Flame Tour.

Prior to the album release and tour announcement, Sounds Like Nashville caught up with the duo to talk about their recent success and plans for the year. Check it out below…
