2017 is the year of country music announcements and Canadian country singer Codie Prevost is adding to his growing family with Baby No. 2 on the way.
The country singer announced the exciting news on his website, telling fans via his mailing list called the Prevost Post that he and his wife are expecting the new arrival in May of 2017. This addition to the family will make four, as Prevost and his wife had their first child back in November 2014.
Charming fans with the cutest announcement possible, Prevost’s daughter, Lyriq, posed for a photo in front of a huge poster that read, “Someday I’m going to be a ballerina, but for now I’m going to be a Big Sister”.
Prevost is well known in the country community up in Canada for his popular album, All Kinds of Crazy, and the moving video for his track, “Someday,” which sends a hopeful message to those in domestic abuse situations. He’s also opened for acts such as Florida Georgia Line, Garth Brooks and The Oak Ridge Boys.
Not only will Prevost become a dad for the second time in 2017, he also plans to keep his schedule on the busy side with the release of a brand new album. Fans can look out for the album rolling out within this coming year.
