After years of discovering her own individualistic sound and putting in the dedication to make a name for herself, Carly Pearce finally came out on top with a No. 1 for “Every Little Thing” on both the Mediabase/Country Aircheck and Billboard Country airplay charts, making her the highest charting solo female debut since July 2015.

Climbing in baby steps up the charts week after week, Pearce celebrated the end of a whirlwind season by clinching the top spot on the countdown. Not taking the moment for granted whatsoever, the singer soaked up the love and support during a recent show with fans congratulating her on the huge accomplishment.

“This was last night. I don’t have words yet, so for now I’ll leave you with this. ❤️ #1 #everylittlething,” Pearce captioned her video clip of the emotional occasion.

Admitting in the video that music was always what Pearce wanted to do from the start, she cried tears of joy while explaining how important earning a No. 1 meant to her and her journey. While it’s been a long road for Pearce, the hard work now paid off and she finds herself excited for the growth she’s experienced in the business.

“I think that if people don’t know it initially when they were introduced to me, they’ll figure it out in my songwriting. They’ll figure it out in my live show. They’ll figure it out when they hear anything about me just how long I have dreamt of this. And I feel like I’ve worked really hard to get here and feel like it is definitely not something that you can just move to town and go, ‘Oh I’m going to be a star,’ or ‘Oh, I’m gonna get a record deal.’ It’s a very difficult business to break into and you have to be willing to commit your whole life to it. And I think the people that are willing to fight and claw and kick and scream and continue to grow are the ones that stick around and hopefully have a shot. And that’s all I ever wanted,” Pearce explained about her path to success.

Pearce will spend her autumn season out with her friend, Brett Young, on his headlining Caliville tour. Tickets can be found through her official website.
