From a very young age, Carly Pearce knew exactly what she wanted to do with her life. She pleaded with her parents to let her leave high school and pursue a dream that not many get to achieve. Because of their belief in their daughter, Todd and Jackie agreed and after many years of hard work and sacrifice, Pearce is beginning to reap the benefits.

Though it was the Kentucky native’s persistence that has paid off, it wouldn’t have been without her parents’ loving support that got her to this place.

“My parents have always told me that I can be and do anything,” Pearce explained to Sound Like Nashville. “They instilled core values and a work ethic in me from a young age that gave me grit, while also being so supportive and being there to catch me when I fell or give me an extra boost of self-confidence.”

She continued, “I know I wouldn’t be where I am or the woman I am today without them! I had many moments of wanting to move back to Kentucky, brokenhearted that I couldn’t get anything going for myself with my career in Nashville. I vividly remember my parents coming to my house, sitting at my kitchen table with me, and telling me I couldn’t give up. They helped me put together a list of things I could do and told me ‘YOU go make this happen for YOU.’ I’ll never forget that.”

Thankfully, Pearce persevered and landed on not one, not two, but four major tours in 2018, including Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts, Thomas Rhett and Luke Bryan. She also earned a No.1 single with her debut “Every Little Thing” and is currently climbing the charts with “Hide The Wine.”
