Carrie Underwood Melts Hearts With Adorable Daddy-Son Storytime Video
As she continues to heal from an accidental fall, Carrie Underwood is spending some well-deserved time at home with her newly-retired hockey husband Mike Fisher and the couple’s nearly 3-year-old son Isaiah. In a video shared to Instagram, Underwood gave fans a glimpse of what life is like at home as Fisher and Isaiah sat and read the story of Noah’s Ark.
“Story time with Daddy…Learning about Noah…and my heart melts…” she wrote with three heart emojis.
In the short clip, Isaiah is comfortable in Daddy’s lap as they two read along with the picture book. After Fisher roars the mightiest of roars for the lions in the book, he begins to ask Isaiah what the animals are in the book. Pointing out giraffes, bats, zebras, oh my, Isaiah quickly and correctly names all of the animals boarding the ark.
Underwood last shared an update with Isaiah during a visit to Fisher’s hometown of Peterborough, Canada. Dressed in thick snow gear, father and son looked snug during a day of sledding in the wintery wonderland.
Though the time at home with her family has been precious, Underwood has been gearing up for the next chapter of her career as she’s been spending time in the studio recording new music. She also recently released “The Champion,” featuring Ludacris, which will be featured at this year’s Super Bowl and Winter Olympic games.
