While the temperatures in Tennessee don’t match the autumn season, Carrie Underwood and her family decided to get into the fall spirit by visiting a local pumpkin patch.

The country singer and her husband, Mike Fisher, took their son, Isaiah, out on the farm to pick out a few pumpkins for the Halloween holiday and explored the outdoor corn maze. Unfortunately, Underwood found herself lost in the labyrinth before Fisher pulled out his handy-dandy map for a bit of a hint for their great escape.

“Got lost in a sweet corn maze today at #luckyladdfarms Fortunately, @mfisher1212 had a map and saved us (or, we cheated and cut through the corn to get to the parking lot). Also saw lots of cute animals and got some 🎃 for the porch! 👍,” Underwood captioned the photos she shared on Instagram.

It even looks as though Isaiah got a little friendly with the sheep as seen in one of the shared photos where Fisher shows his son how to play nice with the farm animal.

The Underwood-Fisher family has been spending a lot of time together as Fisher announced his official retirement from the NHL over the summer and Underwood decided to take a brief break from touring to focus on her life at home. The couple has been sharing pictures of their activities out and about with fans on social media, which they’ve previously been rather private about in the earlier stages of Isaiah’s life.

Underwood will get back to the grind once the CMA Awards season kicks into full gear later this fall. She’ll co-host for the 10th year with Brad Paisley at the 51st Annual CMA Awards, which airs on Wednesday, November 8, on ABC.
