Carrie Underwood Plays Beauty Edition of ‘Never Have I Ever’
The country star sat down with InStyle to expose how she sometimes uses a disguise to get out of the house to sneak in a shopping trip and who really does her makeup when she’s on tour.
From her gorgeous blonde locks to her killer smoky eye, Carrie Underwood is the country queen of all things glam. She knows how to look flawless no matter the occasion and she’s spilling some of her secrets in a cheeky game of ‘Never Have I Ever.’
The country star sat down with InStyle to expose how she sometimes uses a disguise to get out of the house to sneak in a shopping trip and who really does her makeup when she’s on tour. Although she may be one of the biggest artists in the country music format, she keeps it real and low-key when she hits the road by taking care of her own stage face night after night.
“I’m my own glam squad before shows. Makeup on stage is a little different than doing a red carpet or something like that. The lights are so harsh, you can just get away with wearing a lot and I like that! So I’m good at putting a lot of makeup on my face,” she admitted in the video.
On the other hand, Underwood may have embarrassed her hockey player husband, Mike Fisher, by spilling that she occasionally touches up his sports injuries with a bit of concealer if they’re going out together for a public appearance.
“I have actually put makeup on my husband,” she said hesitantly. “He’s gonna kill me! He plays hockey, so sometimes he gets bruises or cuts on his face and stuff like that. If we have a red carpet, I’ll be like, ‘Can I take care of that?’”
Underwood is currently taking a quick break from the chaos of touring to enjoy some time off with her family before working on her next studio album.
