July 10, 2018, marked eight years of marriage for Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher. The epitome of #couplegoals, the duo headed out for a romantic evening to celebrate their marital bliss. Along with a couple of selfies and some “duck face,” Underwood shared a heartfelt sentiment with her hockey playing hubby.

“Here’s to 8 years, babe! Where does the time go?! I love you today more than yesterday…which was more than the day before…and so on and so forth. Here’s to many more years together! ❤️ you!,” she wrote.

The couple has never shied away from showing social media PDA, and openly support one another on their profiles. Whether he’s returning to the ice half a season after retiring (Go Preds!) or bringing their young son to his first full concert with his mama headlining, the Fisher-Underwood clan is always right there.

The couple first met after one of Underwood’s concerts in 2008. Nearly two years later, they exchanged vows during a gorgeous ceremony in Georgia’s Ritz Carlton Reynolds Plantation, surrounded by more than 250 of their closest family and friends. Underwood and Fisher also share an adorable son, Isaiah, who was born in 2015.

Soon, the family of three will see their schedules fill up as Underwood prepares to release her new album, Cry Pretty. Set for release on September 14, the project will also mark the first time Underwood has worked as a producer on one of her albums.
