"It gave us a way to portray one of my songs in a way we’ve never done before," Underwood says of the clip.

Carrie Underwood and her army of ladies are taking their cheating men to the cleaners in the new music video for her latest single, “Dirty Laundry.”

With superstitious elements and eerie metaphorical objects pieced together with the searing looks of all the jaded women, the video creates the fearing theme that these two-timing men aren’t going to get away with all of their secret trouble. While the video doesn’t follow the exact storyline of the track, Underwood wanted to work with the director to snake in the raw feelings that one goes through during the wrongdoings of a significant other.

“Shane [C. Drake, the director] had the idea to include some beautiful animals that represent the parallels between human and animal behavior and instincts, which look great interwoven with visuals of emotional women and men,” Underwood said to Entertainment Tonight. “It gave us a way to portray one of my songs in a way we’ve never done before.”

Per usual, Underwood and Co. look incredible throughout the entire video despite the turmoil that the song emits through its clever lyric. The black-and-white film shoot drives the viewer to mirror that same notion that sang in the hit and channel that desperate frustration one may have in a cheating situation.

Underwood is currently promoting her single, “Dirty Laundry,” for country radio while continuing on her fall leg of the Storyteller Tour. The country star will join Keith Urban in December for the Australian dates of his Ripcord World Tour. Fans can find more details and information about the dates on her website.
