Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood to Give University of Georgia Commencement Speech
Both Kelley and Haywood are alumni to the Georgia college, where they earned their degrees in business administration.
Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood are headed back to school…but it’s not to get themselves another degree.
The two Lady Antebellum members attended the University of Georgia during their younger years and are headed back to the school to celebrate graduation with the class of 2018. Teaming up together, Kelley and Haywood will deliver the speech during commencement to the students who worked their way through college to earn their prestigious Bachelor’s degrees.
Just as Kelley and Haywood stay true to their Bulldog pride, the university seems delighted to welcome back two alumni that went on to follow their dreams and make it big in their own way.
“We are excited to welcome Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood back to their alma mater,” said UGA President Jere W. Morehead in a press release. “They are multi-talented musicians who have impressed the world, and the University of Georgia is very proud of all they have accomplished. We look forward to their inspiring comments.”
Surprisingly enough, the Lady A guys both earned Bachelor of Business Administration degrees back in the day. While they may not be official businessmen, they still take care of work on the road and in the studio to keep their trio running smoothly.
The UGA commencement will take place on May 4 at 7 p.m. EST.
