Just as the theme of the song sheds a light toward finding happiness in the darkest of places, Worsham seems chill and relaxed as he brings his new track to life throughout each and every scene of the video.

Charlie Worsham is back and better than ever with an inspirational message to boot in the new music video for his track, “Cut Your Groove.”

Mimicking the lyrics of the song, Worsham circles around and around like that of a record as he sings along to the uplifting words. Showing a number of people in different situations of trying times, Worsham highlights their optimistic approaches to dealing with the issues in their life in a number of unique ways. While a little girl finds her happiness outside of the chaos within a box of chalk, another young woman dances gracefully along the lanes of a dimly-lit bowling alley.

Just as the theme of the song sheds a light toward finding happiness in the darkest of places, Worsham seems chill and relaxed as he brings his new track to life throughout each and every scene of the video. “Cut Your Groove” also happens to be featured on his new album, which the country singer struggled with despite ultimately finding the happy medium he needed for his career to continue.

“We had so much fun! I had fallen out of love with music, and making this record put me back in love with it on a level I hadn’t felt since I was a teenager. Beginning Of Things was a challenge in surrendering control and trusting my own talent. I’m confident that these songs and these recordings capture my musical geography and personal truth, and at the end of the day, I’m convinced that is the ultimate purpose of an artist—to speak one’s truth,” Worsham revealed in reference to the making of his new record.

Worsham’s album, Beginning of Things, marks his sophomore effort with 13 new songs mirroring his journey over the past couple years. Featuring nine songs in which Worsham co-wrote on, he taps into his raw emotion and shines through his vulnerability within the tracks on the record.

The video for “Cut Your Groove” can be viewed now, and Beginning of Things is available for purchase or streaming.
