Blake Shelton was on a roll Monday night (9/29) during night three of The Voice blind auditions. He added three more members to his team, including 31-year-old Chris Crump.

Crump, who hails from Texas, tells viewers that he’s there because he needs the opportunity to take care of his family, and “in the South, we believe a man needs to provide for his wife.” He takes on one of the biggest songs of the summer, Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud,” which gets the third four-chair turn of the season so far.

Surprisingly, the singer chooses to join Team Blake, bringing the team to seven. Team Blake now includes Blind Joe, Zach Seabaugh, Emily Ann Roberts, Nadjah Nicole, Barrett Baber and fellow night 3 auditioner Morgan Frazier.
