Chris Janson Releases Cover Art, Track List for ‘Everybody’
The track list for Everybody reflects his interactive spirit held through his music, as Janson co-wrote on each of the 12 tracks featured.
September 22 couldn’t come any sooner for Chris Janson, as he announced the track list and sent out the cover art photo for his forthcoming album, Everybody.
The country singer will debut his sophomore effort in just a few weeks, but the anticipation drove him to give fans a preview at what’s to come for his second time around. Honing in on the traditional yet energetic style he exudes on stage and in the studio, Janson let a black-and-white photo by photographer Connor Dwyer take full attention on the cover of his record.
The track list for Everybody also reflects his interactive spirit held through his music, as Janson co-wrote on each of the 12 tracks featured. Excited for his listeners to get their ears on some new sounds, Janson anxiously awaits what he’s been working so very hard on for the past few months to finally hit stores.
“I’m proud of this album in every way,” said Janson about the upcoming release. “The cover shot caught me in a great moment. I was literally laughing on the bus, talking and cracking jokes in Danny McBride fashion. A smile makes most everybody feel good, and I wrote and recorded this record for Everybody. Shooting the photography for the album was the most relaxed I’ve ever been behind a camera. It turned out exactly how I envisioned it.”
Although fans won’t fully know what to expect from Janson’s repertoire on this project, “Fix a Drink” gives a bit of a nod to the laidback stylings he went for this time around. Branching out from his days of “Buy Me a Boat” with different influences flooding his songwriting and creating, Janson allows the music to speak for itself when it makes its way out in September.
Fans can get their hands on a copy of Everybody when it comes out on September 22.
