Brad Paisley isn’t the only country artist stepping up to help the victims of the West Virginia flooding. Chris Janson also pitched in during his show at the Peck Fest in Point Pleasant, WV.

On Friday night (7/22), Janson announced to the crowd during his performance that every dollar raised at the merchandise table would stay in West Virginia to help those recovering from the devastating floods.

“It’s the right thing to do,” said Janson. “I’ve played many nights here in West Virginia and the people have always treated me and my family so nice. It’s like a second home to me.”

No word on how much was raised, but we’re sure any little bit helps. For those looking to still help, they can visit the GoFundMe set up by Paisley at gofundme.com/WestVirginiaFloods.

Janson is currently at country radio with his new single “Holdin’ Her.” The song follows his momentous breakthrough hit, “Buy Me A Boat.”
