Chris Janson will bring the energy from his dynamic live shows into his songwriting and sound on his sophomore effort, due out later this fall.

Titled Everybody, Janson hopes to broaden his sonic and lyrical horizons with the release of his new album. Coming hot off the work of his Fix a Drink EP, the country singer will feature some of the songs off the smaller project as well as never-before-heard tunes that will amplify his rocking spirit with a Southern twang.

“I decided to title this album ‘Everybody’ because that’s exactly who inspired it,” said Janson in a press release. “Real songs, real stories and songs that I believe people from every walk of life can relate to. It’s Everybody – and it’s all on this record.”

When it came to making his second full LP, Janson didn’t shy away from the outer influences he listens to on the regular. As a fan of music overall, he wanted to fuse his roots within the country community to the modern fixtures of pop and guitar slinging of rock to embody his all-encompassing attitude toward the next step in his career.

“To be honest with you, I took kind of a pop stance and attitude on a few songs on this album, as well as some really traditional steel guitar country stances, and you mix those two things together, and you get a really, neat, eclectic record that is absolutely branded Chris Janson,” he explained to Sounds Like Nashville and other media at a recent event.

Currently, Janson holds his spot as one of the opening acts on Sam Hunt’s 15 in a 30 Tour alongside Maren Morris and Ryan Follese. Fans will start to hear some of his new music during his nightly sets on the road as Janson continues to give his listeners a taste of what lies ahead on his second full record.

Everybody is set to hit shelves September 22.
