Chris Lane May Dress Up as Peter Pan for Halloween

All Lane needs is a little faith, trust and pixie dust to finish off the perfect Halloween costume, thanks to a tour prank.

Chris Lane May Dress Up as Peter Pan for Halloween

Send in the green tights and endless amounts of fairy dust because Chris Lane may be busting out his Peter Pan look one more time.

As a way to send Kelsea Ballerini off at the end of their time together on the Rhythm & Roots Tour, Lane thought of a last-minute way to sneak in the tour tradition of pranking his fellow tour mate by dressing the part to her hit single, “Peter Pan.” Although Lane may not typically sport the cutesy attire more often than the title character himself, he still decked himself out head-to-toe (yes, hat with a feather included!) to give her a little giggle while performing her track on stage.

Little did he know, many of the other crew members out on the road had the same exact plan ready for Ballerini.

“It was like last night of tour with Rascal Flatts and you know what? I wanted to try to do something unique. I knew that there would be other people who probably did the whole Peter Pan thing. I mean, that was going to be a given. But the last minute decision to just go with it and it turned out to be fun. I had a lot of fun doing that. Only to find out that when I went running out there, there were like 900 other crew members dressed as Peter Pan as well,” he admitted to Sounds Like Nashville and other media outlets at a press interview recently.

While many would assume that he’d tuck away the outfit as a memory in the back of his mind, the thought of Halloween has been tempting him to bring out the ensemble for one more go-round.

“I started thinking about that because I don’t have a Halloween outfit. I’m just like, ‘Well the easy thing to do is to grab that Peter Pan costume and go at it again,’” Lane said.

If a country version of the ultimate lost boy from Neverland comes knocking on the doors of Nashville on October 31, it’s safe to say Lane is the master of that disguise.

Lane’s current single, “For Her,” is playing all throughout country radio at the moment and fans can check out the song on his album, Girl Problems, now.
