Much to country fans’ delight, a release date for Chris Stapleton’s From A Room: Volume 2 has been announced.

Sharing the news from the stage at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, the GRAMMY, CMA and ACM-award winner revealed that the project would release on December 1 via Mercury Records Nashville.

Volume 1 of the From A Room project debuted to critical acclaim and landed at No.1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart, No.2 on the Billboard Top 200 chart and remains the No.1 best-selling country album of 2017.

The forthcoming extension will feature nine songs, seven of which were co-written by Stapleton, and takes its name from Nashville’s historic RCA Studio A. The project features Stapleton on vocals and guitar, producer Dave Cobb on acoustic guitar, Morgane Stapleton on harmony vocals and long-time band members J.T. Cure on bass and Derek Mixon on drums.
