Charlie Daniels’ 80th Birthday Volunteer Jam has just gotten a whole lot bigger with the addition of Chris Stapleton to the star-studded lineup.

Stapleton will join forces with Kid Rock and Larry The Cable Guy to help Daniels ring in his 80th year on November 30 at an event held in Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

“This is going to be one of them magic evenings,” says Charlie Daniels. “I’m really looking forward to jamming with Chris Stapleton. I’m looking forward to just getting on stage with him and some other pickers and just let the music take us wherever it wants to go.”

Since 1974, Daniels has included his musical friends for a huge jam session to entertain fans in a laid-back, fun concert while also dedicating proceeds to a worthy cause. A portion of the proceeds for this year’s event will go to The Journey Home Project, a nonprofit co-founded by Daniels, to help veterans of the United States Armed Forces. Another milestone for Daniels this year will be his induction to the Country Music Hall of Fame, alongside Randy Travis and Fred Foster. The induction ceremony is set for later this fall.
