Chris Young won’t be ‘Losing Sleep’ wondering if his album will respond well with fans because he just earned himself another No. 1 spot at the top of the album charts with his latest release.

The singer snagged the best slot on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart in the past week with a total of 39,000 equivalent units sold in its first run, which accounts for his second consecutive album hitting that accomplishment. He also garnered the No. 5 position on the overall listing for Billboard’s 200 All Genre Chart as well.

Hoping to bring the songs to life when he hits the road early next year, Young gratefully thanked his fans for their devoted support toward his recent creative endeavor.

“I’m excited to have Losing Sleep debut at #1!” said Young in a press release. “While I co-produced my last two albums, this is the first record where I co-wrote every song. It’s been amazing to have such a great response to the new music, and I’m looking forward to playing it live on tour starting in January.”

Working hard in the studio as a main writer and collaborator on Losing Sleep, Young constantly felt connected to his project and tried his hand at new sounds throughout the process to grasp the next step in his musical catalogue.

“I think the experimentation I did on I’m Comin’ Over was the most I had really done,” Young said previously. “So with Losing Sleep it was about continuing that. There’s stuff like the lead track, which is really different sonically from a lot of things in my catalog – and there are going to be things that feel more familiar, too. Each song has a unique vibe and life to it.”

The “Losing Sleep” singer will take the album, as well as many other deep cuts, on the road next year alongside openers LANco and Kane Brown.

Young will embark on his Losing Sleep 2018 World Tour in January of 2018. Fans can purchase tickets for the shows through his website now.
