People around the world will soon celebrate the new year with a long list of things they hope to accomplish in 2017. Many will succeed at checking things off their list, while others many not even try at all. For Chris Young, coming up with a resolution is something that’s been put on the back burner… for now.

“You know what, I don’t… at least not this year yet,” Young told Sounds Like Nashville of his resolution plans. “I don’t have one. So I’m going to have to think about that. I’ve been going so much. I don’t even get done until the 20th, so maybe after that, I’ll come up with something.”

One thing he has thought about, however, is what he hopes 2017 will bring in terms of his career and the momentum he gained this past year.

“Well, there’s a lot going on. There’s a lot of stuff that’s not announced that is really just going to be exciting for people to find out,” he teased. “And just continuing to build on everything that happened this year. This has been one of the best years of my life, so keep that rolling in to next year and hopefully just try to do things bigger and better.”

While he doesn’t have any plans to reveal his big news quite yet, Young does have several things to look forward to early in the year, including celebrating his smash album I’m Comin’ Over at The GRAMMY Awards as the Tennessee native was nominated for “Think of You,” his duet with Cassadee Pope.
