Chris Young, Kelly Clarkson Join CMA Country Christmas
The two-hour special will air Monday, Nov. 28 on ABC.
It’s going to be a holly, jolly Christmas for country music fans as the lineup for the 2016 CMA Country Christmas special has finally been revealed.
Taking the stage for the holiday celebration will be Joey Alexander, Kelsea Ballerini, Kelly Clarkson, Andra Day, Brett Eldredge, Amy Grant, Sarah McLachlan, Idina Menzel, Kacey Musgraves, Jennifer Nettles, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Jordan Smith, Trisha Yearwood, and Chris Young. Nettles will return as host for the seventh time.
“The taping of ‘CMA Country Christmas’ has become a treasured holiday tradition for Nashville families,” said Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer. “And watching ‘CMA Country Christmas’ on ABC is equally important as generations gather to celebrate the season.”
The CMA Country Christmas taping is also used as a toy drive through a partnership with ABC and the U.S. Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program. Audience members are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy to the taping for children in need throughout Middle Tennessee.
The two-hour special will air Monday, Nov. 28 (8:00-10:00 PM/ET) on the ABC Television Network.
