Following his eighth chart-topping hit, “Think Of You,” featuring Cassadee Pope, Chris Young is headed back to Country radio with “Sober Saturday Night.”

The song, which is the third release from his No.1 album I’m Comin’ Over, was written by Young along with Brad Warren and Brett Warren and features background vocals from the legendary Vince Gill.

Young admits having Gill, who also plays guitar on the track, on the record was “something really special.” In an interview with Sounds Like Nashville last fall, he recalled the moment he went to Gill’s home studio to record the track.

“Vince comes out. He sits down and he goes, ‘Now, I just don’t want you to feel if I play something, that you’re handcuffed to it. You don’t have to put it on the record if you don’t like it,’ Young told us, laughing. “I look over at the wall full of Grammy awards and I’m like, ‘No, I think we’re going to keep it. I think whatever you do is gonna be fine.’”

“Sober Saturday Night” officially hits Country radio this week.

Fans can catch Young at fairs and festivals across the country this summer. In the fall, he’ll embark on his I’m Comin’ Over Tour with special guests Dan + Shay, Dustin Lynch and Cassadee Pope.
