Chris Young To Release His First Christmas Album
The Tennessee native revealed the big news while in the studio with his producer Corey Crowder.
It’s a holly, jolly summer for Chris Young! The singer just announced that he is working on his very first Christmas album.
“We are making a Christmas record,” Young announced in a Facebook Live video. “I am so excited. You guys know Christmas is one of my favorite times of year. I have so many Christmas songs I want to do that it’s hard to narrow it down to this album.”
The Tennessee native revealed the big news while in the studio with his producer Corey Crowder, and friends dressed as Santa and Buddy the Elf.
“I will definitely have more and more news as we get closer to time. Obviously, I’m just happy that this year will be the first year that you guys can put an entire Christmas album of mine in the CD player, or on your iPhone, wherever you listen to music. I’m pumped.”
No word on when Young will drop his holiday record. He is currently out on the road playing fairs and festivals before resuming his headlining tour this fall. His current single “Sober Saturday Night,” featuring Vince Gill, is at Country radio now.
