Talented up-and-comer Clare Dunn made her Grand Ole Opry debut Saturday night (March 5).

The singer received a warm welcome from the audience as she performed her new single, “Tuxedo,” and heartfelt track “Old Hat” from her self-titled EP.

Dunn’s family and friends from Colorado and co-workers from her days of working in the Opry gift shop were also in the audience lending their support.

“Singing my songs at the Grand Ole Opry is something I’ve dreamed of for so long,” Clare shared in a press release. “To share this now with my family, who always believed in me and worked so hard to help me pursue my dreams, I just cannot put into words how much this moment means to me.”

“What a night it was. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of helping me go from working in the gift shop, to stepping into the circle playing The Grand Ole Opry!!!! I appreciate all the love and support shown to me by not only the wonderful audience, but the @opry itself,” she later wrote on Instagram. “One of the best nights of my life. From driving tractors in the dust bowl of Colorado listening to all the artists who have gotten to play the Opry, to getting to debut there myself, I can’t even accept that night was real. God Bless and thank you so much.”

Dunn will follow her impressive performance with upcoming dates on Lee Brice’s Life Off My Years Tour.
