CMT Reveals Finalists for Video of the Year Ahead of 2016 CMT Music Awards

The fans have spoken and the final nominees for Video of the Year for tonight's 2016 CMT Music Awards have been revealed.

The fans have spoken and the final nominees for Video of the Year for tonight’s 2016 CMT Music Awards are Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Chris Stapleton, Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett and Tim McGraw.

The artists are nominated for the following music videos:

  • Blake Shelton – “Sangria”
  • Carrie Underwood – “Smoke Break”
  • Chris Stapleton – “Fire Away”
  • Luke Bryan – “Strip It Down”
  • Thomas Rhett – “Die A Happy Man”
  • Tim McGraw – “Humble and Kind”

If Underwood takes home the win, she will maintain the record for most Video of the Year wins with a total of seven wins in the category, five of which were won consecutively.

Final voting for Video of the Year is open at CMT.com and will continue through the live show.

The 2016 CMT Music Awards, hosted by Erin Andrews and J.J. Watt, will air tonight at 8/7c on CMT.
