Cole Swindell may have gotten his heart broken after losing the love in this relationship, but he still looks back with hope as he admits to making the same mistakes in “Break Up in the End.”

Although the pain and suffering Swindell feels throughout the reminiscent lyrics, he never wanted to change a thing when it came to falling in love with the girl in subject. He still would have brought her home to his parents and let her move in way too early, because the singer doesn’t regret a moment of their time together.

Written by Jon Nite, Chase McGill and Jessie Jo Dillon, Swindell hones in on his vocal repertoire as he emotionally drowns out the negative memories with a light for the past throughout the single.

“Knowing that everyone is about to hear this song is something I have been waiting on since the day I first heard it. I am honored that my songwriting friends trust me with such an amazing message.  I’m excited and confident in the strength of ‘Break Up In The End’ and it being the first song from my upcoming third album. This is the perfect set up of what’s to come,” Swindell said in a press release.

“Break Up in the End” marks Swindell’s lead single off his upcoming project, in which the singer said he recorded both his classic party songs as well as a few poignant numbers.

Swindell is currently on his headlining Reason to Drink Tour for the rest of the spring, with tickets available for dates listed on his website.
