Heartbreak ultimately finds Cole Swindell in the music video for his current single, “Middle of a Memory.”

The new music video shows the progression of what seems to be a happy relationship between Swindell and an anonymous blonde, in which they meet at a house party and fall in love from there. From coupling up at costume parties to the charming little trips to run mundane errands, the country singer is shown to fall hard for his girl and she looks to be reciprocating the favor.

But through each scene leading up to the moment of popping the question, Swindell walks into the girl’s apartment to find that she has left him and won’t be coming back to him. Just as the song holds a lyric that revolves around the abrupt end to a true love, Swindell finds himself brokenhearted and left alone in what he thought was a strong and steady romance.

“Middle of a Memory” is the follow-up single to Swindell’s emotional hit, “You Should Be Here,” off of his latest album with the same title. The song has been rising up the country charts and has no signs of stopping anytime soon.

Meanwhile, Swindell is gearing up to head out on the road for the fall with CMT on his Down Home Tour. The tour, which starts in October and runs through December. With the start of this tour, Swindell will also be releasing a music collection called Down Home Session III for the fans. Tickets and information about the tour are available on his website HERE.
