With Cole Swindell owning the charts with his recent sixth consecutive No.1 single, Jon Pardi about to explode into super stardom, and a massive career of his own, Dierks Bentley certainly has one of the years most stacked concert lineups. The opportunity to be on a tour this impressive is one that Swindell doesn’t take lightly.

“The atmosphere out there is how I want it to be when I’m touring. I mean it is … It’s professional, but it’s fun and it is people taking care of each other. Out there in Canada we were… I can’t speak for my crew and their crews, but it was tough on them, and the weather was bad,” he explained. “The truck drivers, the bus drivers, and it’s just that you saw everybody kind of come together and say, ‘Hey we’re all in this thing together.’ I don’t care who works for who, and you saw people putting up production for everybody and it just … I don’t know it just makes me proud to know my guys, not just me, my band, my crew out there learning from all them.”

While he has been learning a lot throughout his time on the road with Bentley, spending time with his buddies has been the highlight of his year. When asked what the dynamic between the three is, Swindell said “Pretty much the name of the tour: ‘What the Hell.’”

The Georgia native realizes that Bentley wants people on the road with him who are excited to be doing what they’re doing, which gets him ready to rock as well.

“I know Dierks appreciates having guys that still are fired up and loving what they’re doing. And you know Dierks is as good as it gets as an artist and as a person. So it’s a good atmosphere,” Swindell continued.

Swindell will spend much of the year out on the road with Bentley as the What The Hell World Tour rolls on. His current single “Flatliner,” also featuring Bentley, is at country radio now.
