Cole Swindell Offers Tour Advice To Jon Pardi
Cole Swindell knows a thing or two about going on tour with CMT, so he offered up some advice for this year's CMT On Tour headliner Jon Pardi.
“Heartache On The Dance Floor” singer Jon Pardi recently took to Facebook live to announce that he will be hitting the road for the Lucky Tonight Tour presented by CMT. The tour, kicking off in the fall, is the 16th annual CMT On Tour. Pardi will also be bringing along rising bands Runaway June and Midland, who he surprised with the news with a spontaneous FaceTime call through the Facebook stream. All the acts were thrilled with the news of the tour, but they have some big boots to fill!
Ahead of the tour, CMT on Tour pro Cole Swindell offered up some words of encouragement for the budding superstar, who he is currently on the road with for Dierks Bentley’s What The Hell World Tour.
“For Jon, I’m just so excited for him because I’ve been buddies with him… Finally everything’s exploding at the right time for him. He’s a great guy and I’m just happy for him. I wish you the best, and it’s gonna be a fun tour, I’ll go ahead and tell you. He’s a fun guy,” Swindell told Sounds Like Nashville and other media during a recent press conference at CMA Fest.
Swindell is thrilled for his buddy of many years, with the two having met right when Pardi first got his record deal.
“You look at the artists who have done that and they’ve all gone on and been successful. To have CMT behind them and supporting them, that’s a big deal,” he concluded.
Past artists who have headlined CMT On Tour include Brad Paisley, Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert and Luke Bryan. With a list of superstar alumni like that, Pardi is definitely in good hands with CMT.
CMT On Tour will release the exact tour dates for the Lucky Tonight Tour in the near future.
Until then, Pardi will finish up his time with Bentley before embarking on Luke Bryan’s 2017 Farm Tour later this summer. More details can be found on Pardi’s website.
