Country Music Year in Review: 2015 Weddings

While 2015 may forever be known as the year of divorces (we’re still not over it either!), the past year brought 10 amazing couples together in matrimony.

Here, we take a look back at 2015’s country music weddings.

Dee Jay Silver - CountryMusicIsLove

In January, Dee Jay Silver and Jenna Michelle Straub jetted to Punta Cana to exchange vows on the beach. The couple said “I do” on a beautiful beach in the Dominican Republic in front of their friends and family. Members of the bridal party included Jason Aldean and his then-fiancée, Brittany Kerr.

Jason Aldean Wedding

Just months after attending their friends’ wedding on the beach in the Dominican, Aldean and Kerr were married in on the beach in Mexico. “This is the best day ever – I’ve got my girl here, my friends, my family – it’s the best day ever!” Aldean told Us Weekly after the ceremony. Aldean’s daughters, Keeley and Kendyl, (from his first marriage) were in attendance, as well as Duck Dynasty’s Willie Robertson.

Randy Travis, Mary Davis 2

In one of the biggest surprises of the year, Randy Travis married his girlfriend Mary Davis. The news was revealed after he shocked the Country music world by appearing at the 50th Annual ACM Awards. Davis has been by Travis’ side since before he suffered a devastating stroke in 2013.

Eric Paslay

Eric Paslay wasted no time when it came to marrying music publisher Natalie Harker. After their December 2014 engagement, Paslay and Harker wed in April at Front Porch Farms in Charlotte, TN. The couple hosted 200 guests at the wedding and shared their first dance to Frank Sinatra’s “Moonlight Serenade.”

Jana Kramer - Wedding

“I Got The Boy” singer Jana Kramer certainly got the man when she said “I Do” to Michael Caussin in May. “In the beginning I honestly just wanted to go to the courthouse and do this whole Sarah Jessica Parker, ‘Sex and The City’ end of the movie kind of thing,” Kramer told Us Weekly. “But Michael really wanted to have a wedding and once we found the venue I was all in.” The now expectant parents tied the knot in Charlottsville, VA in front of friends and family.

John Osborne

John Osborne, 1/2 of duo Brothers Osborne, and singer/songwriter Lucie Silvas kept it simple when it came to their intimate wedding. The two wed in their living room and exchanged rings… err…Ring Pops! They even admitted to eating the rings afterwards! “Thank you to everyone who always supports us both. We love you so much,” Silvas wrote on Instagram. They later hosted a wedding party to celebrate with friends and family.

Brantley Gilbert, AMber

Brantley Gilbert married Amber Cochran in June at his home in Georgia.“Amber is an amazing person and has inspired a lot of my songs from ‘More Than Miles’ to ‘You Don’t Know Her Like I Do’ for the last 10 years,” he told PEOPLE last year.

Tyler Hubbard and Wif e

Both members of Florida Georgia Line are now sporting rings on their left hands after Tyler Hubbard married Hayley Stommel in July. The two wed in front of 150 guests, including Thomas Rhett, Canaan Smith, Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley, and FGL’s Brian Kelley. The couple’s dog Harley also had a special place at the ceremony — he served as ring bearer. The July date marked the second anniversary of their first kiss (how sweet!).

the Oak Ridge Boys' William Lee Golden Gets Married

In a straight out of a fairy tale type story, The Oak Ridge Boys’ member William Lee Golden married Simone Staley in a private ceremony after a 27 year friendship. The two met back in 1980 and over the years, lost touch with one another then reconnected. It wasn’t until 2009 when the couple found their way back to each other for good.

Preston Brust

Just two weeks after popping the question at the Grand Ole Opry, LOCASH’s Preston Brust tied the knot with Kristen White. The couple said “I Do” on Monday, September 7 (Labor Day) on the rooftop of the George Jones Museum in Nashville in front of friends and family.
