Night two of The Voice’s battle rounds was filled with immense talent, making the decisions of whom to cut even more difficult. While several acts earned full performances during the telecast, several were mixed in with a short montage that recapped their fate.

Among those featured in the collection of clips was competitors Bransen Ireland and Jaron Strom from Team Blake Shelton. The two sang Jon Pardi’s “Head Over Boots,” a song that leaned more towards Ireland’s genre. The song choice didn’t get Strom down as he stepped up to the plate, impressing his coach and keeping his spot on Shelton’s team. Ireland was unfortunately sent packing back to his home in Nashville.

Ireland first won over Shelton when he performed Don Williams’ “Tulsa Time” during his blind audition. He earned chair spin from both the Oklahoma native and coach Adam Levine. Levine fought hard for the hopeful, but ended up losing out to country music royalty when Ireland chose Shelton.

The contestants remaining on Shelton’s team include Kyla Jade, Kaleb Lee, Pryor Baird, Brett Hunter, Austin Giorgio, Spensha Baker, Wilkes, Jaron Strom, Jordan Kirkdorffer, Dallas Caroline, and Dylan Hartigan.

The Voice Battle Rounds will continue into next week with more head-to-head performances. Fans can catch the NBC hit on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c.
