One thing is for sure: country stars are quite rubbish at figuring out the slang language used across the pond in the U.K.

Hunter Hayes, Cam, Bailey Bryan and Cassadee Pope all took on the British slang challenge with the Country Music Association to promote the relationship of country music overseas and proved their skills are a load of codswallop when it comes to defining such words. While some of them admitted defeat before the game even began, the results came out as pure laughter and massive flubs.

Taking on terms such as ‘bung,’ ‘budge up’ and ‘drop a clanger,’ many of them had absolutely no clue on how to describe each phrase. Cam and Pope thought a couple of the definitions were on the cheeky side, while Hayes cracked up over how wrong his answers were throughout the game.

Although country music is starting to take shape internationally as a number of the artists visited throughout the past year, they still don’t know how to get on with the U.K. chinwag way of communicating. Guess the British will just have to give the musicians a polite ‘cheers’ for their efforts at giving the game a go.
