The Zac Brown Band “Zamily” is about to get a bit bigger with an exciting pregnancy announcement from band member Coy Bowles. The ZBB guitarist/keyboardist and his wife Kylie are set to welcome their second child, a daughter, in spring of 2018. The new baby will join Hattie, 13 months, and Bowles can’t wait to see the big sister in action.

“You think you have the most amazing life by having your dreams come true as a musician and marrying the woman of your dreams. But then you add a lil’ baby girl, our daughter Hattie Bowles, to the mix, and it’s like you’ve never really lived and loved until she was here,” Bowles told PEOPLE. “I can’t wait to have it happen again with baby girl No. 2. The whole family is super excited.”

While they are busy preparing for their next bundle of joy, the soon-to-be family of four has been busy with additional side projects, including the release of Bowles’ newest book, Behind the Little Red Door. With his fourth children’s book, Bowles will encourage young minds to use their creativity to find out what, in fact, is hidden behind the red door.

The release of the book comes in a partnership with Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Georgia Pre-K program, which is free to four-year-olds statewide.
“Knowing that my kids will be going to school in Georgia makes the picture book that I’m doing for the 25th birthday celebration of this amazing Pre-K program so special and rewarding,”

“Teachers work so hard, and my goal was to give back to the educational community and this wonderful program,” he added. “Behind the Little Red Door will be given out to 84,000 kids … I can’t wait for them to read it.”

In the meantime, Bowles will enjoy reading his books to his daughter Hattie and will look forward to sharing them with his daughter-to-be. Congratulations to the growing family!
