Craig Wayne Boyd and Fiancée Welcome Baby Girl

Craig Wayne Boyd rang in the new year with a new baby girl!

Boyd and his fiancée, Taylor Borland, are the proud parents to Dakota Lynn, who was born on December 31. Weighing in at 5.3 lbs and measuring 17.5 inches long, she arrived at 5:37pm on New Year’s Eve, which also happens to be Boyd’s birthday. 

“It was the best birthday present I could have ever received,” said Boyd, who won season seven of NBC’s The Voice. “We are in love already and I am so grateful for our growing family. Dakota is beautiful just like her mom.”

Dakota joins Boyd’s son Jaxon, from a previous relationship. Boyd and Borland met the day after he won The Voice, and have been together since. The pair got engaged over the summer after Boyd’s performance at the Oak Ridge Boys Theater in Branson, MO.

Both mom and baby are doing well.
