On a beautiful Saturday evening in Nashville, TN, Dan Smyers of Dan + Shay exchanged vows with his longtime girlfriend Abby Law, People confirms.
The couple was surrounded by family and friends for their intimate sunset wedding. The couple also involved their rescue dogs Chief and Joy in the ceremony as part of the bridal party.
“They are the most important bridesmaid and groomsman,” Smyers told People previously as Law joked, “I’ve ordered a tux and a dress for them — so they will be dressed up!”
The couple’s decision to tie the knot in Music City was an easy one to make as it’s where their fairy-tale story began.
“It’ll be awesome to have all of our friends and family together in Nashville — a lot of them have never been here. We built our love story in Nashville and it’ll be cool to get everybody there to see where it all began for us,” Smyers shared.
The couple became engaged during a trip to Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii where Smyers dropped to one knee on the sandy beaches for the romantic moment. The couple announced their engagement via social media on Friday, Nov. 18.
