Dan + Shay Lock Down Third Consecutive No. 1 Hit With ‘How Not To’

Third time is a charm for Dan + Shay as they take home their third consecutive No. 1 single with the success of their song, “How Not To.”
The rocking chorus and longing ode solidified the country duo’s spot at the top of both the Mediabase and Billboard Country Radio Airplay lists throughout weeks of climbing its way past the competition. Marking a milestone for Dan + Shay in their musical careers, they could not be more thankful to the fans and their listeners for reaching such a huge accomplishment with them.

With Father’s Day planned just in time for their celebration, the duo made a point to share the honor with their families as they came to visit for some quality time together on that special Sunday (6/18).
Not wasting any time with moving on to their next radio release, the guys took the fans’ opinions into account to decide on what song should hit the airwaves next. Just in time for summer, their supporters asked them to push “Road Trippin’” as the next jam to sing along with in the car and Dan + Shay couldn’t have agreed more with the reaction.
“Fans would always make posts saying, ‘Road tripping to the Dan + Shay show!’ – and we thought that was fantastic,” said Shay Mooney recently. “We knew we had to make it into a song. We had a blast writing ‘Road Trippin’, and I think that comes across.”
