Danielle Bradbery Inspired By Friendship with Thomas Rhett

Sometimes, it’s all about who you know. While working on her upcoming project, Danielle Bradbery keeps friends like Thomas Rhett even closer to find the inspiration she needs when she hits the studio.

While working on her sophomore release for the past few years, Bradbery has taken all of the advice people throw to her as much as she can when it comes to writing. Developing her sound through listening to her favorite genres as well as reaching out to her country colleagues has been a key point in the creative process for the country artist in making her highly-anticipated new music.

“I mean, learning in this gap of time of doing writing and meeting new people and meeting new writers and getting as much inspiration as I can; I know music is just a little all over the place now, which I personally don’t mind. I love listening to all different types of music and that’s just me. I like to put a little bit of what I like to listen to, which is a little bit of R&B and my heart is always country. So I’m like, urban country. I’ve been just writing down things that I hear during the day. There’s just so much that’s in one day here in Nashville that is inspiration that I can bring into the studio. Being friends with Thomas Rhett, he’ll even give me a little bit of advice. So I have it all around. Hopefully, it’ll be good,” she said to Sounds Like Nashville in an recent interview.

No matter what though, Bradbery has her fans in mind. She doesn’t want to let them down since they have been waiting so long for new music.

“It’s been a ride, I’ll tell you. I’m just really gearing down and trying to make things right for the sound and for what I want people to hear now that it’s been almost four years since people have really heard a project from me. I’m really getting together with my team and sitting down…I’ve been having a lot of meetings just trying to get it right. I’ve been writing a lot and we do have music. We’re just trying to get that little last thing and then we’ll hopefully have a release date. ‘Cause I know my fans are like, ‘Your favorite word is soon!’ So I’m just waiting like y’all are. I’m excited once we get a release date and it hopefully is this year, so I’m pumped,” she explained.
