Darius Rucker is coming back to reality…well, if that’s what people mean by reality television.

The exciting news revealed by Rucker announced that he would be appearing as a part of the famous take off the reality television show, Undercover Boss. While Rucker may not own a business or chain company like many of the other big-wigs that make it onto the show, he does know a thing or two about the music business and is using the platform to find the next big musician.

Taking the streets of Austin, Texas, in a faux wig and matching facial hair, the “Wagon Wheel” singer brings his guitar along to find the talent that lies within the heart of Texas. Throughout his episode, Rucker will be seen hosting an open mic night for willing musicians, as well as working as a touring employee and seeking out some amazing street performers on the iconic Sixth Street row.

“The jig’s up! I went undercover in Austin to scout out some incredible musicians on #UndercoverBoss. Watch May 12 at 9/8c on @CBS,” Rucker wrote to his followers on Twitter about his upcoming television gig.

The country singer isn’t the only famous face to lend a hand to the reality television special, as celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson will also be featured as an undercover cook looking to find the next big restauranteur in the country.

Rucker’s episode of Celebrity Undercover Boss: Darius Rucker will air on May 12 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
