For the ninth time in his career, Darius Rucker will invite his country music pals and fans out for a remarkable event benefitting a great cause for the Darius Rucker and Friends Benefit Concert.

Partnering with the incredible work and dedication of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Rucker will perform his hits as well as bring out some special guests to play a few of their own tracks throughout the evening to raise awareness for the medical organization. Providing care to young patients and their families regardless of circumstance and without the stress of medical costs is something Rucker is extremely passionate about, and remains one of the reasons that he continues to support St. Jude.

“When you see first-hand what this organization can do for families, it’s remarkable,” Rucker said about the work done at St. Jude. “Over the years we’ve met so many survivors, families of patients and volunteers whose lives have been changed by St. Jude. It’s one of my favorite shows of the year.”

Although the lineup for the evening has not yet been announced, previous appearances have been made by anyone from Luke Bryan to Charles Kelley to Kenny Rogers and more. The artists for this year’s show will come out in the next coming weeks leading up to the concert.

Darius Rucker and Friends will head to the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville to kick off CMA Fest week on Monday, June 4. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 20, at 10 a.m. CST via Ticketmaster.
