Dee Jay Silver and Wife Expecting Baby No.2
They are having their rainbow baby!
And baby makes four for Dee Jay Silver (John Perdue) and his wife Jenna!
In an adorable announcement posted to their social media on Monday afternoon (10/15), the couple revealed that they’d be welcoming a new member to their brood in March 2019.
“It’s moving day! And for good reason!!! 😍 Time to make room for the little brother or sister! Our hearts are bursting with gratitude! Perdue Party of 4, coming this March,” wrote Jenna with a photo of the couple’s son Wake next to a big brother and rainbow balloon.
The choice to include a rainbow balloon comes months after the couple revealed a loss (a rainbow baby is one that comes after a miscarriage). Jenna blogged about the tragedy on her Blonde on the Bright Side blog, sharing how devastating the process was and her decision to share their heartbreak.
“Miscarriage should not be a silent subject. No one should suffer alone. Women, when ready, should share their stories. It’s healing & helpful to so many, people we don’t even know. It’s like the passing of the torch in a dark place. Giving light in the darkness… just enough to know you are not alone. It is not your fault. Surrender control & lean towards love. This hurdle is a lesson & one we will all get through. Even at the lowest of lows, I can promise you this: you will be okay. It just takes time & lots of practice. Be kind to yourself. Ask for help. Be patient in your recovery & remember: Just always lean towards love.”

While the two have not yet revealed whether or not their second child will be a boy or a girl, they are over the moon for their new addition.
Dee Jay Silver and Jenna welcomed their son Wake in September 2016. They wed in January 2015 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.
