Dierks Bentley is one of many artists in the country music industry hopping along the touring train as he’ll head out on the road for the majority of the summer months.

Announcing the 2018 Mountain High Tour based off his mountain-man theme throughout this next step in his career, Bentley let fans in on the shows by way of a hilarious comedy sketch shared by Entertainment Weekly. The country singer invites his opening act artists, Brothers Osborne and LANCO, for a spiritual experience out in the woods and channels his shaman ways throughout the parody.

Clad in dreadlocks and tribal apparel, Bentley remained in character throughout the video despite his support laughing at the whole get-up and outdoorsy situation. Nevertheless, they learn the laws of the land from their leader, Bentley, and just go along with what he has to say.

Despite his rather laidback persona in the tour promo, Bentley and his crew can’t wait to start entertaining his fan base once again with the warmer months approaching. Getting himself in the best shape to translate that power to the stage, the “Woman, Amen” singer anticipates a run like never before in preparation for his upcoming album, The Mountain, as well.

“When we come out for tour, I’m like more excited than the crowd — I’m like, ‘I’m more excited than you are, because I haven’t been doing sh— for months! This is my chance to party!’ And when I’m on stage, I’m ready to give it everything, more than I’ve ever given, because I’ve been saving up for this moment and it means a lot to me,” Bentley said to Entertainment Weekly.

The first date of the tour of the 2018 Mountain High Tour is slated for May 17 in Columbia, Maryland, and will run through October. Fans can look for tickets on sale starting on Friday, January 26, on Megaticket.
