Dierks Bentley, Billy Ray Cyrus Announced to Perform Duets at CMT Awards

Bentley will be joined by Elle King to perform their hit, "Different for Girls," and Cyrus will invite Cheap Trick to perform a music mash-up like no other.

As if the lineup for the 2016 CMT Music Awards wasn’t amazing enough, it was just recently announced that a couple more country heavyhitters will be added to the list of performances at the awards show.

Dierks Bentley will be joined by Elle King to perform their duet, “Different for Girls,” which is Bentley’s latest single off his new record, Black. Additionally, the man who made “Achy Breaky Heart” famous, Billy Ray Cyrus, will be taking the CMT stage for the first time in eight years with guests Cheap Trick to create a music mash-up like no other.

The previously announced performers at the 2016 CMT Music Awards include Keith Urban featuring tour mates Maren Morris and Brett Eldredge, Blake Shelton and the Oak Ridge Boys, Chris Stapleton, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett and Luke Bryan. Cam will also take part in a collaboration performance with pop girl group Fifth Harmony.

Hosting the awards will be Erin Andrews and J.J. Watt, and people can expect a lot more fun and excitement to happen throughout the show.

The 2016 CMT Music Awards will air live from Nashville’s own Bridgestone Arena on June 8 at 8 p.m. Fans can go on CMT.com to vote for their favorite videos leading up to the show.
