Dierks Bentley, Jon Pardi and Cole Swindell are becoming the three best friends that anyone could have.

While hitting the road for Bentley’s What the Hell Tour this spring, all three guys have created a steady bromance like no other and have valued the time spent together while performing to crowds all across the country. Although they may have been fans of each other before the experience, they’ve grown closer together, both professionally and socially.

Known as the ringleader of the group, Bentley takes charge when it comes to keeping their heads in the touring game. The “Black” singer also recognizes that people like Swindell have looked up to him for quite some time, but he reciprocates the respect back to his opening act and loves getting to see him live his dreams out every day on stage.

“He’s told me so many times that I’m the reason he moved to town to write songs, just enough to where I actually kind of semi believe him, he’s said it so many times. It’s a special thing for him. It’s a special thing for me to have someone out there really that I’ve known for so long, that I’ve been cheering on for so long who’s obviously killing it,” Bentley said recently.

Bentley has even taken to Pardi, who commands the stage night after night on tour. While their styles in performing may differ, that only makes Bentley even more intrigued and supportive of both Pardi and his pal, Swindell.

“I think the base level is like you have to go out there and be someone who’s gonna crush the show every night and you want to win and you want to take those fans with you and you’re going after it,” explained Bentley. “You’re not just out there to party. You’re out there to attack the stage and go for those fans. He has that. Jon Pardi has that. But besides that, they’re both just really fun guys. They’re both single and just fun guys to be around and that energy is always good for the tour.”

There’s no question Bentley truly treasures his time with his opening acts as he and Swindell even released a song together called “Flatliner” to country radio and it’s been making its way up the charts over the past few weeks.

The What the Hell Tour will continue to stop in cities throughout the U.S. for the next couple months. More dates and information are available for viewing on Bentley’s website.
