Dierks Bentley is set to receive a huge industry honor early next year.

Announced Thursday (Dec. 7) by Country Radio Broadcasters, Bentley will be the recipient of the 2018 Artist Humanitarian Award during the upcoming Country Radio Seminar (CRS).

Created in 1990, the award recognizes artists who have exhibited “exceptional humanitarian efforts” throughout their career. Past recipients include Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisley, Reba, and Garth Brooks (among others).

Since hitting the country music scene in 2003, the multi-platinum singer/songwriter has supported many charitable initiatives and has participated in countless philanthropic events. Most notably, his “Miles & Music For Kids” motorcycle ride and concert has raised more than $4 million for various charities nationwide.

Bentley will receive the honor following Country Radio Seminar’s opening ceremony on Monday, February 5, 2018. CRS 2018 will be held Monday, February 5, 2018 through Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at downtown Nashville’s Omni hotel.
