When fans hear Dierks Bentley’s latest single, “Different for Girls,” it’s typically Elle King singing his harmonies. But at a recent VIP performance in Indianapolis, Bentley brought a surprise special guest to sing along in the duet: his eldest daughter.

In the video posted on YouTube by a fan at the event, Bentley finishes his first verse and chorus before bringing up his 7-year-old daughter, Evalyn “Evie” Day, up on stage to add a little background vocals to the mix. Even at her young age, it can be said that she’s got her daddy’s talent in her blood.

“Normally, this would be the part where Elle King sings with me, but she’s not here,” Bentley tells the excited crowd. “But I did meet a young fan backstage who wants to come up and sing Elle’s part.”

Throughout the cute father-daughter moment, Bentley encourages his little girl through every line, but she still owns the stage like nobody’s business. Maybe she could even be enlisted in as the No. 1 backup for King while out on the road.

Right now, Bentley is currently on the road throughout the rest of summer and into the fall. It also was recently announced that he will play the NFL Kickoff Show in Denver alongside pop/rock band OneRepublic.

His middle child, Jordan, got in on the fun too! Watch her sing “All The Way To Me” with Dierks below.
