Dierks Bentley may be fresh off the road from his “Mountain High Tour,” but he is still busy working on new projects, including a comedy for FOX.

According to Variety, the singer will produce a single-camera show set in a Nashville bar where “singers and songwriters go to chase their dreams, or maybe just to fall in love if only for a night.”

Teaming up with Bentley for the new series is writer and executive producer Jack Burditt, the creator of Last Man Standing. Burditt’s other credits include Modern Family, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and The Mindy Project.

The news comes after a stand-out year for the Arizona native, who released his ninth studio album, The Mountain, in June. He earned his 16th No.1 single with the lead track from that project, “Woman, Amen,” and is currently blazing up the charts with his Brothers Osborne-collaboration, “Burning Man.”

No word yet on when Bentley’s unnamed pilot will premiere.
