Dierks Bentley Receives Thoughtful Gift From Fan

Fans often give gifts to their favorite artists, but rarely is it something as special as one Dierks Bentley recently received from a fan named Briana.

Bentley prides himself on showing appreciation for his fans, and it is apparent that this mindset has made an impact on Briana’s life. This thoughtful project shows that every mile of Bentley’s career is a memory for fans and himself alike.

Bentley posted a photo on Instagram of a shirt with a long list of dates on it—40 of them to be exact. They range from 1975 to 2017, with at least one date per year starting in 2003. Briana created the shirt for Bentley with each date documenting monumental moments in Bentley’s life.

“The amount of time that went into researching the significant moments in my life and career and then putting the dates on a t-shirt… blows my mind. thanks briana, and all our fans that give me letters and gifts like this. so humbled by your graciousness. truly,” Bentley shared alongside the photo he shared of the gift.

The shirt came with a list that explained the dates, as well as a personal letter from Briana explaining the significance of the gift.

The list of dates begins with November 20, 1975, which is the day Bentley was born. It is printed in a darker gray color to signify that it is a personal celebration. The other personal dates printed in this color on the shirt are the day he married Cassidy Black and the birth dates of their children.

Briana did even more research than those obvious dates. She included release dates of his singles and albums, the moments he won his Academy of Country Music awards and the opening of his Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum exhibit, “Dierks Bentley: Every Mile A Memory.”

Also included are the dates of Bentley’s Grand Ole Opry debut, invitation to become a member and his official induction. At the time of his induction, Bentley was the youngest Grand Ole Opry member.
