Hollywood rose to its feet to celebrate Dolly Parton and her 9-to-5 co-stars Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda when the ladies stepped out onto the 69th Primetime EMMY Awards stage to celebrate their empowering musical film, and they did not disappoint in their appearance.

Parton and her pals came as support to present the award for the Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie, which made the EMMYs crowd excited for their mini-reunion. Parton herself even expressed interest in getting the gang back together for another go at their classic film.

“Personally, I have been waiting for a 9-to-5 reunion ever since we did the first one,” Parton exclaimed sweetly.

Fonda took the lead quickly after by giving a subtle jab toward President Trump, based on their dealings within the movie of having to work with a “sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot.” Soon enough, Parton lightened the tension by bringing it back to the category they were presenting that evening and claiming she knows a thing or two about ‘support.’

“Well, I know about support. If it hadn’t been for support, Shock and Awe here would be more like Flopsy and Droopy,” Parton joked. Of course, Parton couldn’t stop there when she made an even more hilarious gag about trying to get a Grace and Frankie vibrator in her swag bag for the night as her friends, Fonda and Tomlin, star in the hit Netflix series.

Although none of the ladies, including Parton, went home with trophies for their nominations of the night, Parton definitely won over a lot of hearts as celebrity guests from every part of the industry lined up to get their picture with the iconic country music star.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson of Modern Family took a picture of the 9-to-5 crew for Instagram, and Chrissy Metz from This is Us even snagged her own picture with Parton as a fangirl. But Sofia Vergara from Modern Family stole the caption show with her adorable Instagram post dedicated to Parton.
