Dolly Parton is well-known for her standout voice and she’s taking it with her to make her debut as a singing chicken on the preschool animated series, Lily’s Driftwood Bay.

The show, geared toward toddlers, is about a girl who creates an imaginary world based off random items she finds washed up on the beach. Parton will play Noleen, a famous singing chicken, in a special double-length episode airing next year. This will be Parton’s animation debut, so she is gearing up for the role in the best way she knows how.

“I’ve never played a chicken before but I have been known to lay a few eggs! Noleen is a very famous chicken, probably one of the most famous chickens ever there was. She washes up on Driftwood Bay and she’s trying to get Salty to go with her on tour. Now whether he does or whether he doesn’t, you’ll just have to watch and see,” said Parton.

Other famous voices joining the show include Stephen Fry, Peter Mullan, Tameka Empson and many more known in the UK and Ireland.

Lily’s Driftwood Bay is set to start in the UK on Nick Jr. on June 6, followed by its debut on NBCUniversal’s children’s’ network, Sprout, on June 27.
